Written about the day of October 28, 2012
On Sunday the six families in our group went to Safari Park. It was like a Six Flags plus a real cool zoo!
We first started out taking a train, and we saw the coolest animals. Again, Laura was the photographer and she captured so many wonderful pictures!
After the safari on wheels, there was a Dinosaur Exhibit with live models of all kinds of Dinosaurs and smoke and mist. If we would have known this, we would have skipped it. I imagine Ava was wondering what in the world we were doing to her. We ended up walking very fast through the Exhibit and tried to face her away from the scary monsters!! Just great for bonding!! haha
Ava's faces were hilarious as she watched some of the scary dinosaurs. The music was even scary. Christine was running through and Laura managed to capture Ava's expressions!
Again, I'm just wondering why our Guide told us to go to this Exhibit first????
Ava's buddy Cam. (Our friends April and Brett Furber's little boy)
Ava was just too busy to look at the camera! She decided to attach herself to Christine that day!
Again, so many expressions! She knows she's funny. She will make these faces, then just laugh!!
Our gang!
When it was time to go, Ava got brave and just walked around by herself! Didn't really care where we were.
She's so much more stable on her feet, just one week after we got her!
Craig just has to have a picture of himself and a crazy hat about everywhere we go!
We had a great day at Safari Park. We could have spent several more hours there, but we had to meet our group at a certain time and leave on the bus.
For dinner, a group of us walked to the Banana Leaf. It was a Thai Restaurant and they just happened to have American Karaoke!!
Craig's getting warmed up!
Everyone clapped and cheered when he and Ava got up and danced!
Christine and Laura saw these signs in the Women's restroom and just had to laugh! We saw so many "bad English interpretations!"
When we got back to our hotel Ava just babbled and babbled as she read her Brown Bear Brown Bear book. (Upside Down!)
