To say I'm a proud momma doesn't even begin to express how I feel! Laura had a wonderful night at Honors Night. She received several cords (Beta Club, Student Council, National English Honor Society, Peer Leading, Key Club, and Honor Grad) and even a scholarship!! There were several scholarships that were awarded and one was a "Diversity Scholarship." Laura applied for it and wrote an essay, but we never heard anything. So when they announced that she was a recipient for that scholarship last night we were very surprised!! Her essay was fabulous and one of her teachers told her that her essay was the top choice for all the teachers who voted. That is definitely something to be proud about! I know God has wonderful plans for Laura, and I can't wait to see what they are!!
