Christine's soccer team (Craig is the coach!) had 2 games Saturday and 1 game on Sunday. They played 2 tough teams on Sat and unfortunetly lost both games. It was sad because they normally win. Plus there were some calls that weren't exactly "fair" but that's just life! So we got up Sunday morning and it was thundering and lightening and raining like crazy. I think we finally started our 11am game at 3pm or so. But we are so glad we got to play, because we won and our team played a great game. It was fun to end our season on a good note. We have the sweetest team, and Craig really enjoys coaching those girls!!!
Oh, and Ava did great at the game. At first she was absolutely tickled that she could stand out in the rain under an umbrella and not get wet. She just cackled!! She was a little trooper. Sat morning Ava went to Laura's baccalaureate with me, then went to Christine's soccer game. Then Sunday she went back to the soccer field for another game. I know she was worn out. She went to bed at 7pm Sunday night. It would help if she would just fall asleep when she got tired, either in her stroller or car seat. But NO, she has to be in her bed. So that makes it a little more difficult! But she loves being around other people and she's usually in a pretty good mood! She surely loves being around her sisters!!
