After Christine's soccer game, we headed to Dahlonega to spend the afternoon with Laura! It was a beautiful sunny day! We also enjoyed hanging out with Laura's roommate Jade :)) We went to the bookstore and got the girls some UNG sweatshirts and long sleeved T's, then we walked around the square! We went in some antique stores and had a wonderful meal at a little mexican restaurant.
We were headed back to Laura's dorm when we came upon a horse and buggy. The horses were eating hay so we stopped to let Ava watch and pet them. We ended up getting a good deal for a horse and buggy ride around the town so we went and got a little history about Dahlonega! It's such a quaint little town with tons of history to go along with it. We had such a wonderful visit, and the good thing is it's only about an hour away, so it makes it an easy trip! Laura loves college and we are so thankful for that! It feels so good when we can all be together. It's still so quiet at home without Laura around :)) Not as quiet as it would be without Ava (haha) but still noticeable that she is gone. I sure do love my girls!
