Last year we celebrated Halloween in China! Well, we really didn't celebrate but we did dress Ava up as a little pumpkin in the hotel!
This year, Ava was Belle and she had an absolute BLAST!! She loved running up to people's doors and knocking and saying trick or treat!! Then "xie xie" pronounced shey- shey(thank you in Chinese!) She was amazed that she got candy, just for knocking at their doors!! She would run back to the sidewalk telling Christine and Daddy how much "canny" she got from each house! She just squealed with joy when we got home and spread the candy out on the table and asked her if she had fun! I don't even know that Christmas can top the joy she had last night running around in her little Belle costume receiving candy!! I wonder if she wonders why we waited for a whole year to do something this fun!! It was so much fun seeing her have such a good time!! What a fun night!!
