We got PA today!!!

I'm so happy to share that we have just received our Preliminary Approval (PA) from China to adopt XS!! I guess this means that I will need to get back in the swing of blogging again! After a year or so of continual blogging about life and Ava, I got in the habit of just "living" instead of taking time to write it all out! Life got busy, and seemed fairly normal, so I took a little "blog" break. Well, I guess that time is over!!

We are so excited to begin this journey again, and add a sweet blessing to our family!!

When we adopted Ava we had very little information about her and only a few pictures. With our son, we have a little more information and even a little video. (I can't get it to play on this computer though) The information written about him by his nannies is so sweet.

These are some of the comments that were written about our son in his reports.
He plays sports.  He shares his treats. He begs to cuddle with his nannies.  He is now 3 years old and loves sports. His favorite sport is tag with his friends. After some laps, other children are so tired and can’t run, but he is still full of energy, smiling with pride and joy. He learns new sports quickly and delights in being on the go! He was the first one to learn how to do a somersault in his gym class and the first to learn “the trolley game”.

While he is a good listener and hard worker, he is also very determined little boy who can learn independently. He recently taught himself to go up and down the stairs, by practicing over and over while holding the railing and then gradually improving his balance and letting go. He loves gym class and the equipment. He loves to explore the different stations and enjoys figuring out how to play on them.
XS is not just all brawn – he is also a great little pupil in the classroom. He sits attentively in his chair and listens to the class lessons carefully. When the teacher calls the roll and calls him, he stands up at once and answers. He is also making great progress with his speech. He will carefully pronounce and restate new words as he learns them to ensure he gets them correct.
XS is a loving little boy and kind-hearted. Whenever he is given delicious treats he is quick to share with the other children, often laughing and delighting in feeding them the treat himself.  He also shows signs of being able to attach well, and begs nannies for a cuddle and strokes their face and looks for affection when he is sad. He can be so charming, that the nannies claim they cannot even get angry or rebuke his requests for affection.
XS is sweet, kind, athletic and learning more and more each day.

This information has just been so awesome to have!! We can't wait to get him home and love on him. Hopefully we will have him home in 10 months or so!!

As for now, I am beginning that wondrous MOUNTAIN of paperwork for our home study. Please pray that he is safe until we can bring him home, and that he can feel our love! I am already praying that his little heart will be ready for a HUGE change.

We have created a Youcaring.com page if you feel led to help support us during this journey.   Thank you so much!!
