What a busy, GREAT, week!

I am posting in retrospect, because I could hardly keep up with the events of last week!

Monday- First day of school. Both girls had a great day!
Tuesday- My mom had surgery.(And she's doing good!)
Wednesday----  LOA!!!

This is our official letter of acceptance from China to adopt Ava.This allows us to send off documents to immigrations to specifically adopt Ava. We can also apply for our visas and finish  the final steps needed before we actually travel. We expect to be able to go to China around Halloween and bring our baby home!

Thursday- Laura turns 17!  On her actual birthday, Laura had band practice, then band pictures and we ended up eating at Chick fil a at 8:30pm. We didn't have much time to celebrate.

Make a wish!!

Friday- Nannie and Poppa come to visit!  I cooked one of her favorite "home-cooked" meals and made her a birthday "pecan pie." (Her choice)

 It was an eventful week, but a good week. A good first week of school for the girls. A surgery that will hopefully fix my mom's A-fib. The best news we could have gotten regarding Ava, and a wonderful visit with Nannie and Poppa.
